ARGO provides LNG Integrated Solutions & Services through initiatives and collaboration with international and local players. The focus of ARGO include LNG Ship to Ship Transfer (STS), LNG Storage (FSU) for break bulking, shipping of LNG products through Small Scale LNG carriers and now pursuing LNG bunkering services for the region.
In Nov 2017, PETRONAS appointed ARGO as Service Provider for the Ship-to-Ship Transfer of LNG, being national initiatives in promoting Green Fuel Gas Solutions for Ships/Offshore vessels. In 2018/2019, at Brunei Bay, Sipitang Sabah, ARGO and partners in collaboration with PETRONAS successfully conducted five (5) LNG STS operations.
To date, five (5) LNG STS operations have been carried out by ARGO and its partner at Brunei Bay, Sabah.
A. First STS operation : 9th – 12th June 2018
- LNG cargo transferred from Seri Bijaksana to Lucia Ambition
B. 2nd & 3rd STS operation : 8th – 14th April 2019
- LNG cargo transferred from Seri Bijaksana-Arctic Spirit
- LNG cargo transferred from Seri Bijaksana-Polar Spirit
C. 4th & 5th STS operation : 2nd – 8th October 20
- LNG cargo transferred from Seri Bijaksana-Polar Spirit
- LNG cargo transferred from Seri Bijaksana- Lerici
